Eva Ayaragarnchanakul
Eva
Ayaragarnchanakul is a PhD fellow in the chair Sustainability
Economics of Human Settlements, advised by Prof. Dr. Felix
Creutzig.
She was granted a full Ph.D. scholarship by the Royal Thai
Government and is currently on study-leave from lecturing at the
Faculty of Economics, Prince of Songkla University (Hatyai campus),
Songkhla, Thailand.
She has a strong economics background, holding a Master
of Economics (International program) and a Bachelor of Arts
(Economics) from Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Her Master's thesis title is “An Agent-Based Model of
Polycentric City Formation: Application to the Bangkok Metropolitan
Region", supervised by Assistant Prof. Nattapong Puttanapong,
Ph.D.
Her research interests include quantitative methods, urban
economics, and regional science.
She is now working on sustainable mobility in Bangkok,
Thailand.
She is a native Thai of a Chinese descent, growing up a
bilingual English-Thai speaker, also moderately understanding
Mandarin.
